The very first MOMO steering wheel was a small-diameter wheel with a thick, leather-wrapped grip. In 1964 John Surtees won the World Championship using a copy of that wheel in his Ferrari F1 car.

The MOMO Model 31 continues that pure, timeless look. The full-round wheel has a 320mm (12 5/8") diameter rim, small enough to fit in a small sedan. The grip has no lumps or bulges to take away from its classic style. The suede covering on the rim extends well down onto the two side spokes. The flat (no dish) center is undrilled, with a small yellow "MOMO" logo on the bottom spoke. Black suede over black anodized aluminum.
