Brand: Aurora Bearing Company
These special size Spherical Bearings are constructed using heat treated and hard chrome plated balls and hard alloy steel, PTFE lined races for unsurpassed strength and durability. These sizes are variations on the proven Aurora COM series.
Part No. 3073-8 is the replacement for the common "1243P" bearing used on some racing shocks, including the older non-adjustable Bilstein shocks on many older formula cars. (Not all shocks use this size so be sure to check yours.) The original bearing is a very low-strength, non-PTFE lined part with a non-hardened race. These quickly wear out and can ruin the performance of even the best shock absorber. Our replacement will give years of trouble-free service.
