Brand: Scribner Engineering
If your Scribner utility jug leaks when you pour, you probably have a worn or missing gasket in the cap. The old rubber gaskets were notorious for swelling and falling out of the cap. This new synthetic material will not swell, and will hold itself in the cap for a long time. This is the same gasket supplied with our Replacement Utility Jug Cap Assembly (Part No. 2561).
This 3 3/8" OD gasket fits utility jugs manufactured by Scribner (part number 2558 and 2559). These square jugs have a handle in one side and usually have "Scribner Plastics" molded into the side. Jugs manufactured by Maxx (part number 2560) have 2 handles on one corner and use an O-ring instead of a gasket in the cap. Sold individually.
