Dye Penetrant Crack Testing
Critical suspension parts such as uprights should be checked for cracks frequently. Our kits make it easy for you to do the job yourself at home easily and economically.
The Visible Dye system allows a quick and easy check without any special blacklight equipment. It is perfect for quick checks at the track. The Fluorescent UV system is more sensitive, finding smaller cracks than the visible system, but it requires the use of a blacklight. Beacuse of the difference in sensitivity, visible dye systems are not approved by the FAA for aircraft use.
(HAO) = Hazardous, Air only. No hazard fee on ground shipments. These items are considered Hazardous by UPS when shipped by air (3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air).
