Rev Limiters

A Rev Limiter momentarily disrupts your engine's ignition at a pre-set RPM level to protect against over-revving due to a missed shift, wheelspin, or just staying on the throttle too long.* This can save bent valves, broken cranks, and premature rebuilds.

We offer field-settable Pertronix rev limiters. We can also re-calibrate the old Microdynamics "Smoothcut" rev limiter.

*No rev limiter can prevent a forced over-rev due to downshifting too early or selecting the wrong gear.
