Why are these products on sale?

Loctite products are marked with very conservative "use by" dates. These dates have to account for a wide range of variables after the sale (like being stored in a closed vehicle parked in Death Valley).

Loctite often has inventory in their distribution centers with six or more different expiration dates for a single product. We can't specify what expiration dates are acceptable when we place our orders, which means that sometimes we get brand new product that has already been sitting on their shelves for quite some time. However, we like to keep the stock on our shelves as fresh as possible. We carefully monitor the use-by dates and when those dates start to get too close, we put the product on sale to clear it out quickly. This helps to keep all of our Loctite products as fresh as possible.

By the way, our warehouse is climate-controlled year round to provide an environment that won't accelerate product aging. It's a far cry from Death Valley!
