4.4" x 1.75" Convex Lens Elliptical Formula Car Side Mirrors

These are some of the nicest formula car mirrors we have ever seen. From the machined billet aluminum base, to the stainless hardware, to the strong (but not brittle) aerodynamic nylon housing, the quality and attention to detail are obvious.

The low-profile elliptical wide-angle convex lens (approximately 1 3/4" high x 4 7/16" wide) makes it easier to spot cars that are not directly behind you. Each mirror mounts with two 10-32 flat head screws (furnished). The base and angled stem are anodized black aluminum. The housing is available in Carbon Fiber and paintable black nylon.

A ball joint at the mounting flange and a left-to-right pivot at the housing give them a very wide range of adjustment. Both joints have set screws which must be tightened after the mirror is adjusted. The housing pivot is located at the center of the housing. The mirror glass is fixed in the housing.

Now with stronger studs! For 2016, the stainless steel ball joint stud size has been enlarged from 10-32 to 1/4-28 for extra strength.
