Spark Plugs for FF1600 & Ford 2.0L
The rules on ignition systems for Formula Ford and FC / S2 are fairly restrictive, so it's critical to keep all of the components in good working order. Spark plugs are consumable items that should be replaced regularly. All of the spark plugs we carry are sold individually.
The Champion N6YC and Autolite AL51 are the standard plugs for Formula Ford 1600 with the original cast iron cylinder head. The Champion RC9YC has a smaller hex for easier access in the aluminum head.
For FF2000 / S2000, we offer NGK spark plugs. The NGK AP8FS fits the Pinto head directly. The NGK DPR9EIX-9 Iridium spark plug requires a special bushing (no longer available) to fit the FF2000 / S2000 engine.
