Sound and Heat Insulation
Most of our Heat Barrier Products don't block sound because they are designed for racing. If you need a heat barrier that also damps sound, we offer the Suppressor from Thermo-Tec.
The self-adhesive, foil-backed Suppressor uses a polyethylene film to help absorb and reduce vibrations while blocking radiant and conducted heat. The thin film (less than 1/8" thick) won't affect the fit of carpeting or interior panels.
Choose from individual sheets or convenient kits, designed for specific coverage areas.
