MOMO Racing Steering Wheels
Gianpiero Moretti designed his first steering wheel -- a small-diameter wheel with a thick, leather-wrapped grip -- for his own hillclimb racing. In 1964 it caught the attention of John Surtees, who requested a copy for his Ferrari F1 car. That wheel helped him to win the F1 World Championship, and MOMO (Moretti Monza) was born.
The steering wheel is the most important interface between car and driver. Having a wheel that feels like a natural extension of your hand can be as important as proper pedal and seat location.
