If you think that tool chests have to be heavy to be sturdy, think again! The top-of-the-line C39 rolling cabinet from Beta Tools has a strong yet lightweight aluminum chassis for maximum capacity.
The C39/7 has seven locking drawers on ball-bearing slides. Two bottle-and-can shelves on one end and two more on the back provide storage on the outside. The molded plastic worktop is features a recessed work area with two pockets for small parts and a screwdriver organizing area. A paper towel roll holder rounds out the package. Everything rolls easily on 5" diameter casters (2 fixed and 2 swivel with brakes).
Despite the compact 19 3/4" x 31 1/2" footprint, the C39 cabinet features full-size 23 1/8" x 14 1/2" drawers. Five of the drawers measure 2 3/4" deep, with one 5 1/2" deep and one 8 1/4" deep. All seven drawers ride on smooth ball-bearing slides and include a protective foam liner. The innovative drawer latch mechanism is easy to operate, even with gloves on and hands full. Simply lift the full-length drawer handle slightly to open -- no separate motion or unnatural action required. The latch automatically closes when you close the drawer. All drawers lock with a single keyed lock in the upper right corner.
The cabinet weighs just 130 pounds empty, but the extruded aluminum frame allows it to hold over 2600 pounds*! Aluminum-finish frame and light grey drawer handles; dark grey worktop, shelves, and Beta logos; and Beta Orange panels. 38 1/4" high. Tools sold separately.
