This flat-woven, 6 ounce Nomex® III material has a matte (non-shiny) finish. Use it to cover custom seat inserts such as our Creafoam Bead Seat Kits, or for repairs to driver's suits. Nomex® III (Type 455) is Nomex® with 5% Kevlar® blended in for increased strength when exposed to fire. Fabric is 60" wide and is sold by the running foot. Natural color is off-white to light tan.
Adhere this material to your seat insert with our High Temperature Spray-On Adhesive (Part No. 1835-020, sold separately).
For suit repairs, we recommend our Tex 60 Size Nomex Thread (Part No. 2131-White, sold separately).
