The "Club International Series" (CIS) are some of the nicest GT racing mirrors we have ever seen. From the machined billet aluminum base, to the stainless hardware, to the aerodynamic carbon fiber housing, the quality and attention to detail are obvious.
This straight stem version features a ball joint at the mounting flange (approximately 20° range of motion in every direction) and a left-to-right pivot at the housing for a wide range of adjustment. Both joints have set screws which must be tightened after the mirror is adjusted.* The housing pivot is offset in the housing to move the mirror away from the cockpit. The convex (woide-angle) mirror glass is fixed in the housing. The vertical stem lifts the mirror body approximately 4" up from the mounting surface. This version is ideal for mounting on nearly horizontal surfaces.
The large rectangular wide-angle convex lens (approximately 2 3/4" high x 5 3/4" wide) makes it easier to spot cars that are not directly behind you. Each mirror mounts with two 10-32 flat head screws (furnished). The base and straight stem are anodized black aluminum. The housing is genuine carbon fiber, not plastic with a pattern printed on. Sold in pairs.
* Tightening the set screw on the base ball joint requires access to the backside of the panel. If the mirror is mounted on a door, you will need to remove the interior door panel for access.
