This nylon-face hammer from Beta Tools features a solid hickory wood handle for comfort and long life. The 35mm (1 3/8") diameter nylon striking faces are designed to minimize marring the workpiece. They are also non-sparking, so this hammer is safer for work around fuel than a steel hammer.
The medium-hard nylon composition (75 Shore) is harder than the polymer used on the 1390 Soft-Faced Hammer. It is ideal for sheet metal forming. Overall length is 12 1/4"; head is 3 3/4" long.
