The contact pins are a critical part of the Smart Camber Tool. Accurate measurements depend on straight pins, but these aluminum pins are easy to damage by rough handling. If you can't get repeatable camber measurements, you might need new contact pins.
This is the same (Standard Length) Contact Pin normally supplied with the Smart Camber Tool (Part No. 3764).
We also offer an Extended Contact Pin Assembly (Part No. 3756) to allow the Smart Camber Gauge to be used with deeper wheel rims or cantilevered tires.
Single knurl at the end identifies this as the standard pin which measures 2.39" from the end of the pin to the bottom of the knurled thumbwheel. A slightly longer pin (2.45") is also available for use with the Hands Free (Caster) Adapter. The slightly longer pin is identified by a second knurl midway down the pin.
