Don't let a scratched or pockmarked lens ruin your videos! This is a replacement outer lens for the AiM SmartyCam 3 Corsa (Part Nos. MC-841 and MC-842) as well as the older SmartyCam HD Rev.2 (formerly Part Nos. MC-558 and MC-599). Since this lens is exposed, it will be the first to be damaged by flying rocks, bugs, and other debris. If the SmartyCam HD is not protected by a windscreen, you should check the lens before each event.
Complete kit includes the glass outer lens and a sealing O-ring which goes between the outer lens and the inner lens. One kit repairs one SmartyCam. Fits both narrow (60 or 67°) and wide (84 or 120°) versions.
Note: This is the large (35mm / 1 3/8" OD) lens used on the current SmartyCam 3 Corsa and the previous-generation SmartyCam HD 2.1, introduced in late fall of 2014. It does not fit the earlier SmartyCam HD, available from 2013 until late 2014. The second generation can be identified by the markings "SmartyCam HD Rev 2.1" and a cover over the viewfinder held on by 8 screws. Earlier SmartyCam HD had a smaller 7/8" diameter lens assembly and a viewfinder that was flush with the front surface of the case.
Also does not fit original (silver and black rubberized) SmartyCam, SmartyCam GP, or SmartyCam HD GP.
