Cutting soft tubing can be a pain without the proper tool. The 331L cutter from Beta Tools has a ratcheting function so you won't drive yourself crazy spinning the tubing or the tool!
The 331L is designed for cutting aluminum and copper tubing from 5/16" to 1 1/8" OD (8 to 29mm). The 40-tooth ratchet lets you use the tool in a limited amount of space. Instead of turning the tool or the pipe in a full circle, simply turn the handle as little as 9 degrees and bring it back. The cutter continues around the tube for a clean, straight cut. This makes it ideal for cutting tubing after the tubing has been bent to shape.
An oversized thumbscrew makes it easy to advance the cutting wheel a little with every full revolution of the cutter. The beefy steel cutting mechanism is permanently installed in the lightweight composite handle, so there's nothing to get lost. Measures 7 1/16" long overall. Black only.
Note: Beta does not recommend using this cutter for harder materials such as steel. Doing so will prematurely dull the cutting blade. Please use caution.
