The 1706DGT digital gauge from Beta Tools is designed specifically for measuring tire tread depth. The large LCD readout can be switched from metric (0-25 mm x 0.01mm) to SAE (0-1 inch x 0.001) at the push of a button. The display can be reset to zero at any reading for easy comparison of one tire to another (or between different parts of a single tire) with no math needed.
