Ford "Modular" V8 engines feature cross-bolted main caps for improved bottom-end rigidity. ARP Pro Series side bolts are manufactured from 8740 chrome moly steel, heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength with J-form threads that are rolled (not cut) after heat treatment (not before) for unmatched strength and precision.

This kit includes ten M9 bolts with 12-point heads and special washers specifically for the cast iron Ford Racing Boss 5.0L Modular block (M-6010-BOSS50). Not for use with 4.6L / 5.4L blocks or the 5.0L "Coyote" engine.
