This one-piece ring compressor from ARP is designed to work with 83mm (3.268") cylinder bores. No adjustment or setup is needed, just place it on the block and drop the piston in. The gently radiused taper makes installation easy and minimizes the chance of damage to the rings. A very small, thin extension at the bottom centers it in the cylinder bore.
Machined from 6061-T6 billet and Type 3 black anodized for long life. The bore size is also engraved in bright numbers 3/4" high -- a big help if you build more than one type of engine!
