Forget about caliper-type ride height gauges that swing in an arc, giving inaccurate readings. Abandon those ride height gauge blocks that can't reach under extended bodywork or spoilers to measure on the chassis. This linear ride height gauge solves both of those problems at once!
This rugged ride height gauge from Longacre is totally linear over its entire range to eliminate errors. You can be sure that 3 1/4" on the scale is exactly 3 1/4" at the chassis! The "short" 24 inch reach easily gets past lip spoilers and side skirts to measure against any point on the chassis. The sliding scale clearly displays ride height from 2 to 10 inches with 1/16" (0.063") resolution. A magnet on the end holds the tape to your steel frame, allowing the gauge to move with the car as you make adjustments. The tough aluminum frame has clear markings in inches (2" to 10") and millimeters (50mm to 260mm). Made in USA. Sold individually.
Off-roaders note: If you need to measure between 10" and 20", simply extend the tape to 10", then re-zero the scale on the gauge!
