This tether kit lets you convert your HANS Device to the new low-profile M61 Quick-Release Helmet Anchors, Part No. 9599-102 (sold separately). The tether has a small twisted metal tab at each end. A small round hole in the tab accepts the spring-loaded pin in the helmet anchor.
The tether carries SFI 38.1 and FIA 8858-2010 approval. Note: FIA approval is only valid when the anchors are mounted using factory-installed threaded inserts on SAH2010, SA2015, FIA 8858-2010, and FIA 8859 approved helmets.
This kit includes the Vision Advantage Plus sliding tether (standard 18" length), two tether carriers, and carrier mounting screws. The carriers in this kit fit the HANS III only.
Note: For HANS Devices manufactured by HANS (North America) or Simpson only. Not guaranteed to work with devices manufactured under license (Stand 21, etc).
