The "original" Aeromotive fuel pump, the A1000 is amazingly flexible and accommodating. Its 150 gallon per hour maximum fuel flow can feed engines up to 1500 HP. Coupled to the right fuel pressure regulator (sold separately), the A1000 can be used with carburetors or fuel injection, forced induction or naturally aspirated, full-race vehicles or daily drivers. You can even mount it inline or submerged in the tank!
Fuel Injection: Up to 1300 HP naturally aspirated or up to 1000 HP forced induction should use a high-pressure bypass regulator such as the Aeromotive 40-75 psi A1000 Bypass Regulator (Part No. 13101, sold separately). Typical flow in EFI applications is 115 GPH at 45 psi. The Aeromotive Fuel Pump Speed Controller (Part No. AEI-16306, sold separately) is required for street use.
Carbureted: Up to 1500 HP naturally aspirated or up to 1200 HP forced induction (perfect for blow-through superchargers). The Aeromotive 3-12 psi A1000 Bypass Fuel Pressure Regulator (Part No. AEI-13204, sold separately) is recommended for these applications. Typical flow with this combination 150 GPH at 8 psi.
Inlet and outlet are both female -10 (7/8-14) O-ring ports for easy adapting to any fuel system. Compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends including E85, and diesel fuel. Noite: For E85, derate the gasoline HP by 30% (e.g., 1300 HP gasoline but 910 HP on E85).
A high-flowing pre-filter such as the Aeromotive 100 Micron Inline Pre-Filter (Part No. 12304, sold separately) is highly recommended to protect the pump from trash and fuel starvation.
