The Aeromotive Street / Strip "SS" series fuel pumps are equally at home in hot rods, daily drivers, and all-out racing vehicles. This high-volume pump is designed to feed carbureted engines making from 200 to 750 HP. The relatively high 14 psi maximum pressure requires the addition of a pressure regulator (sold separately) for most applications.
The heavy-duty pumping mechanism features Aeromotive's own composite rotor with stainless steel vanes and heat-treated steel top and bottom plates for long life. The 12 volt electric motor draws less than 5 amps. Compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends (including E85), methanol, and diesel fuel. Red anodized base and polished aluminum motor cover are topped by a gloss black top cap.
Female 3/8 NPT inlet and outlet ports are easy to adapt to just about any installation. Measures 4 1/4" OD (5 1/2" deep at base) x 6 3/4" high. Weighs 4.1 lb. Designed and manufactured in the USA.
