This pleated stainless steel mesh filter fits Aeromotive remote (canister-type) fuel filters (Part Nos. AEI-12318 and AEI-12319). The very coarse element has a nominal 100 micron rating* to protect your fuel pump.
Aeromotive filter elements have more pleats for more surface area than the competition, which means more flow and less restriction. This filter element is for use before the fuel pump only. Suitable for use with gasoline, gasoline / alcohol blends up to E85, and diesel fuel.
* A 100 micron particle is about the diameter of a human hair.
Note: This filter element is designed to fit the Aeromotive brand filters listed above only. It will not fit any other make or model.
