This bypass-type regulator from Aeromotive is truly universal. It can handle 1000 HP engines easily, whether they're fuel injected or carbureted. It's suitable for street and racing use, and can even withstand alcohol-blended fuels.
Right out of the box, this regulator can be set between 3 and 20 psi for use with carburetors. An included high-pressure spring lets you easily convert the regulator to a 20 to 60 psi adjustment range for fuel injection. A vacuum port lets you vary fuel pressure using either manifold vacuum or boost pressure (1:1 ratio), or the port can be left open for constant fuel pressure. The bypass regulator type requires a return line (6AN / 3/8" ID or larger) back to the tank. The regulator can be plumbed in between the feed line and the fuel rail or after the fuel rail.
The compact, billet aluminum body has four 3/8 NPT threaded inlet and outlet ports and one 3/8 NPT return line port on the bottom. A separate 1/8 NPT port (plugged from the factory) is also provided for easy installation of a fuel pressure gauge (sold separately).
For maximum flexibility, any of the four 3/8 NPT ports can be used for inlet or outlet. Run the feed line into the front port and connect the two side ports to the carbs; feed into the left port and the right port out to the fuel rail; or connect both fuel rail outlets to the side ports with the regulator at the end of the system. Just connect the bypass line to the bottom port and plug the unused inlet/outlet port(s). Inlet/outlet port adapters and plugs sold separately.
Compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends to E-85, and diesel fuel.
