Rather than use expensive ratcheting tie-down straps on all four corners of a car, use two of these less expensive Combo Tie Back Straps to anchor one end. Then use two of our 2" Wide Ratchet Tie Down Straps (Part No. 2351, sold separately) to secure the load in place in the trailer.
These handy tie downs combine a standard tie-back strap with the convenience of an axle strap. A twisted snap hook at each end keeps the strap securely fastened even when it is not under tension. A steel D-ring in the middle of the strap allows you to wrap one end of the strap around an axle or other suspension part if no anchor hook is available on the car. The D-ring can be adjusted to make the loop portion 24" to 45" long (overall strap length 36" to 48" long). The heavy two inch wide polyester webbing allows extremely long wear with minimal stretch, and a nylon outer sleeve protects the strap and your car's suspension. The entire assembly is rated for a 2000 pound working load limit. Sold individually.
Note: This strap should always be used with one end wrapped and snapped to the D-ring. It should never be used as a straight strap. For straight straps with snap hooks at both ends, see our standard 2 Inch Wide Tie-Back Straps (Part No. 2357).
