This adapter will allow you to bolt your 6-bolt Momo, OMP, or Sabelt steering wheel to the steering column in many different Ford and Mercury vehicles without any welding. Also accepts Sparco wheels with the common 6x70mm bolt pattern. The collapsable structure is designed to absorb an impact, deforming the hub instead of your ribcage.
This hub has no provision for quick release.

1984-88 Ford Thunderbird* / Mercury Cougar
* 84-90 Note: 1984-86 Mustang and 1984-88 Thunderbird must add 1987-89 OEM Ford cruise control switch assembly
** 91-04 Note: This hub fits the 1991-04 shaft but not the outer column shroud. Requires extensive modification to the interior trim and eliminates all electronics in the wheel. Some customers have reported problems with the airbag system in these vehicles as well. This application is recommended for racing only.
