The compact Cool-A-Clava water-circulating driver cooling system is designed to be worn inside your helmet to cool your scalp on really hot days. The included soft-sided mini cooler measures just 4" x 7" x 7.5" H, small enough for a formula car or kart!
This complete kit includes the Cool-A-Clava, a soft-sided mini cooler with recirculating pump, insulated connection hose set (4 feet long), and two freezable Endurance Ice cold packs. The 12 volt pump is designed to be wired to your vehicle's electrical system, but it draws less than 3 amps.
To use the included Endurance Ice, just freeze the cold packs for a day or two prior to the event (keep them in a freezer or ice chest until needed). Put them in the soft-sided mini cooler, then fill the cooler the rest of the way with cool water. The Endurance Ice packs last longer than ice and reduce the chance of spillage if the cooler comes loose.
Total system weight 6.5 lbs. Expect about 1.5 hours of cooling before the Endurance Ice will need to be re-frozen.
