Fitting Fixers from Koul Tools are designed to restore the 37° flare to any standard AN or JIC male fitting. The heart of the fixer is a lapping tool coated with diamond dust which smooths out damage and imperfections on aluminum, steel, or even stainless steel fittings. Equally important is the precision-machined guide collar which ensures that the flare will be perfectly straight and properly aligned to the threads for a perfect seal. They entire set is small enough to live in your toolbox for field repairs.
To use, simply thread the aluminum guide collar onto your male AN fitting. Chuck the lapping tool into your drill and put a drop of oil in the lapping cone. Insert the lapping tool into the guide collar and spin the drill a few times while applying light pressure against the fitting. In less than a minute, your fitting is ready for use!
This Large set includes Fitting Fixers for 10AN, 12AN, and 16AN male fittings. Each guide collar has the AN dash number as well as the corresponding tubing size etched on the side for quick identification. Conceived, designed, and manufactured in the USA.
