The Tilton 800-Series brake and clutch pedal assemblies fill the gap between the traditional 600-Series and the high-tech 900-Series designs. While the clutch pedal is designed to accept a conventional master cylinder with standard 2.25 inch mounting hole spacing and a 5/16-24 pushrod, the brake pedal takes the newer rear-pivoting Tilton 78-Series master cylinders for optimum braking performance.
The brake pedal is equipped with an adjustable bias bar (7/16-20) for dual master brake cylinders. The clutch pedal has an adjustable pedal stop built in to prevent overtravel. Both pedals feature non-skid pedal pads that can be adjusted to achieve different pedal ratios from 5.0:1 to 6.2:1. The pads can also be adjusted horizontally for clearance. Maximum pedal length 13.5" (343mm) from center of pivot to bottom of pad; minimum length 11.44" (290.5mm). Overall width 8.67" (220.3mm).
The Firewall Mount style mounts the pedal cluster under the dash against the firewall or front bulkhead, with the pedals hanging down and the master cylinders facing toward the front of the car (typically poking through the firewall).
