The first Redhead fueling valves were originally designed to refuel Indy cars quickly and safely, without spillage. Redhead Dry Break valves were first patented in 1972. Today Redhead valves are found on professional racecars from NASCAR to LeMans (and, of course, Indy).

The Redhead Push-Pull series are simple to use. Just Push the male probe into the female receptacle, and both valves open. Pull them apart, and they both close securely. No fumbling with triggers or levers. The 2.0" PP20 Series is the original size and still the standard used on most racecars.

This female receptacle valve mounts directly in the top of your fuel cell, eliminating the need for a remote feed hose (there is no provision for adding a remote feed hose). The round aluminum flange has a 4" diameter 12-bolt mounting circle for #10 SAE or 5mm screws. Requires 3.25" deep x 4" diameter recess in the fuel cell foam for proper operation. Flows approximately 2 gallons per second when connected to the Redhead PP20M Male Probe Push-Pull Refueling Valve (Part No. RHV-PP20M, sold separately).

NOTE: This is the genuine Redhead brand "Push-Pull" series refueling valve. This design is not interchangeable with any other type on the market. Do not attempt to mate a different brand or series probe to this Push-Pull receptacle. When in doubt, replace both ends!
