AutoMeter Pro-Comp liquid filled gauges are designed for racing applications with extreme vibrations or violent pounding. The bourdon tube gauge mechanism is encased in a special dampening fluid that absorbs shock and vibration. This protection not only provides steadiness to the pointer, but also adds longer life to the instrument. Pro-Comp gauges feature white numbers with distinctive white and yellow markings on a black face with a silver bezel. The flourescent red needle and full 270 degree sweep on a 2 5/8 inch diameter face make the Pro-Comp series easily visible. Liquid-filled mechanical boost gauge reads 30 inches of Mercury vacuum to 20 psi boost. Includes 6 foot nylon tubing kit for easy hookup.
Note: Liquid-filled gauges are filled approximately 90% full of liquid. An air pocket must be left to allow room for the liquid to expand and contract with temperature changes. It is normal for the air pocket to be visible in the face of the gauge. This is not a defect!
