Differential Carrier Bearing for Hewland Mk 9 Sideplate

These tapered roller bearings have an OD of 3.00" to fit Hewland Mk 9 sideplates only. Not compatible with Webster, VW, or Hewland Mk 8 sideplates. Replaces Hewland part number HC9 2051. Each includes one "cup" outer race and one "cone" inner bearing/race assembly. Two sets required per gearbox.

When replacing these bearings, be prepared to measure and re-set the bearing preload and ring & pinion backlash by adjusting the number and position of the shims behind each bearing cup in the sideplate.
