Window Nets help keep the driver's arms and head inside the vehicle and out of danger in an incident. They also help to keep debris (e.g., tires from the tire wall) from entering the cockpit. Most sanctioning bodies require window nets on the driver's side of closed vehicles.
This mesh window net is much easier to see through than ribbon-type nets, and does not compromise safety. This rectangular net measures 14" high x 18" wide*, just big enough for very small window openings. Both the top and bottom edges have sewn pockets to accept a mounting rod kit (sold separately). In addition, two 2" wide wrap-around mounting straps are attached to the bottom edge. Each strap can be independently adjusted up to 15" long. This makes it ideal for use in cars with diagonal or X-shaped door bars. SFI 27.1 rated. Black only.
* Measurements are with the net "relaxed". It can be pulled out to 15" x 18", but it will be under a little bit of tension.
