Canton spin-on oil filters are a direct replacement for your spin-on filter, but are easily disassembled to inspect for signs of engine damage. The super-strong extruded aluminum housing will not blow out or distort under the highest pressures. The synthetic deep-media filter element can out-flow two conventional racing filters, yet filters down to 8 microns. The extra capacity of the deep media also means that no filter bypass valve is needed.

This short filter housing measures 4.25" long x 3" diameter with a 2.62 inch O-ring diameter. The 3/4x16 threads fit a wide range of cars (both foreign and domestic) as well as most aftermarket remote oil filter heads. Includes one 2.62" 8 Micron Filter Element (Part No. 1291).
