This fuel filter uses the same high-strength aluminum housing and synthetic deep filter media that have been race-proven in Canton oil filters!
The seals and the filter element are made using materials that are resistant to all common racing fuels. The super-fine 1 micron filter element is fine enough for any fuel injection system, yet will flow up to 90 gallons per minute with minimal pressure drop. In fact, the pressure drop is so low that this high-capacity filter can even be used on the suction side of most pumps.
The body of the billet aluminum housing is black anodized to distinguish it from Canton oil filters. The bolt-on end caps are both clear anodized. End inlet and side outlet are both -12 O-ring ports and require an -12 O-Ring Boss to Male AN Adapter Kit (Part No. 1280-Size), sold separately (one kit is enough for one filter assembly). Includes one filter element.
This filter does not include a mounting clamp. Canton recommends the Canton Round Filter Mounting Clamp (Part No. 1285-Round). One clamp is sufficient for most street installations, but two clamps are recommended for off-road racing or other extreme environments.
This design has a new 5-bolt end cap and replaces the old 4-bolt filters Part No. 1127 (Canton 25-911) and CM 25-911B.
