For those who need to stay with a traditional lead-acid battery, Braille has raised the bar both in terms of performance and in terms of environmental responsibility. Braille Advanced AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries out-perform larger and heavier batteries by combining recycled materials with fresh technology.
This 12 volt battery is a direct replacement for our Part No. 1169 12 Ah AGM battery (YTX14 size) used in many FF and FC cars. Measures 5.9" Long x 3.4" Wide x 5.8" High with the positive terminal on the left. The B14115 weighs only 11.5 pounds but delivers a whopping 904 pulse cranking amps with 15 Amp hour capacity. It is recommended for racecars up to 2.0L with alternators or carbureted racecars up to 2.0L without alternators (FF1600, F2000, F3, FA, Formula Renault, S2000, CSR/DSR/P2, F1000).
Unique convertible terminals accept 1/4" ring terminals or common SAE clamp-on terminals. The fully sealed design lets you mount it in any position, even upside-down. Braille AGM batteries are considered non-hazardous freight and can be shipped by air or ground.
