If you want the convenience of a quick-disconnect charging harness permanently installed on your battery, but you don't want an unsightly cord flopping around when you're not using your Optimate charger, this special extension cable may be the answer!
One end plugs into the SAE plug of your Optimate quick-disconnect ring terminal harness. The other end has a bulkhead-type mount for installation in a panel. The panel-mount end has the SAE plug to accept the lead on your Optimate charger. Simply drill a 1" (25mm) hole in your panel, feed the mount through from the back to the front, and screw down the included mounting nut. Connect the free end to your ring terminal harness and you're ready!
The plugs are both polarized to prevent reverse connection. A dust cap for the panel-mount end provides weather protection, allowing you to install the cable on either an interior or an exterior panel for maximum convenience. Measures 48" / 4 feet (1.2m) long. Suitable for use in temperatures as low as -40° F (-40° C). Includes bulkhead mounting nut, dust cap for panel mount end, and dust boot for free end plug.
Note: For battery charging using Optimate battery chargers only. Not for use with any other brand. Not suitable for boosting or jump-starting.
