This external retaining ring (E-clip) secures the automatic choke actuator to the choke shaft lever on certain Weber 2-barrel downdraft carburetors equipped with an automatic choke. Sold individually, one required per carburetor. (Note that if your choke mechanism has been removed, your carb will no longer use this clip.)
Fits the following Weber carbs (number in parentheses refers to the number in the Weber exploded diagram):
32/36 DFEV: (86) "Ring" - secures choke lever (44) to choke shaft / lever (88)
32/36 DGAV/DGEV: (6) "Spring Ring" - secures choke control lever (36) to choke shaft / lever (4)
38/38 DGAS/DGES: (6) "Spring Ring" - secures choke control lever (36) to choke shaft / lever (4)
Note: This clip is not used on the 40 DFAV, 32/36 DGV, or on any other model with a manual choke.
