This compact starter weighs less than 6.9 pounds. Works with most Cosworth-powered Formula Atlantics and many other hard-to-fit formula car and sports racer applications with Ford 4-cylinder engines and Hewland FT200 gearboxes. A great feature of the XLT starter is the ability to position the motor/solenoid assembly in 24° increments with respect to the mounting flange (15 different positions available). This mounting flexibility and compact size allows this starter to fit applications that can't be satisfied with a standard Super Starter.
