This special bolt is used to attach the floating brake disc to the hub on late-model Van Diemen FF1600, FC, and FF2000 cars. 1/4" fine threads on one end accept a 1/4-28 MS21042 Jetnut (Part No. MS21042-4, sold separately). Each disc requires 6 bolts. Sold individually.
These bolts fit the standard Van Diemen hub and the following Campbell rotors (sold separately):
Front (LD20) Brake Disc for Van Diemen 1994 and up, Part No. 3545-33
Rear (LD19) Brake Disc for Van Diemen 1994 and up, Part No. 3545-34
Note: This bolt is not a good fit in the Performance Friction rotors (PFC Part Nos. 255.10.0042.03 and .04). For PFC rotors we offer a very slightly different Van Diemen Floating Disc Drive Bolt for PFC Rotors (Part No. 3547-104).
Tech Tip: When installing floating rotors, do not tighten any of the hardware until all bolts and nuts are in place. Try to position each bolt approximately in the center of its slot with the flats parallel to the sides of the slot. Tighten each one a little, then move on to the next one. This may take several times around the rotor before everything is tight. If you tighten the hardware unevenly, or install a bolt at one end of its slot, the rotor will bind and may not be able to float in any direction.
