Forget the boiling water and heat guns! The KOUL Tools EZ-ON Press assembles our Textile-Reinforced Rubber Hose onto our Barbed Hose Ends effortlessly. You will actually look forward to building hoses with this tool.
This amazing tool looks a bit like a micro-mini lathe, but it's really two vises -- one stationary and one travelling -- designed just for assembling rubber hoses. Simply clamp your barbed hose end into the stationary jaws and lubricate the barb. Clamp your rubber hose in the travelling jaws and lubricate the inside of the hose. Turn the feed screw, and the EZ-ON Press will push the hose onto the barb. That's all -- no twisting, no swearing, no sweat.
The EZ-ON Press works on any brand of rubber hose including Aeroquip Socketless and Earl's Super-Stock. Jaw adapters are included to fit virtually any brand of straight and angled hose end fittings. The tool and all adapters store neatly inside a fitted case (included). Its light weight and compact size make it ideal for bringing along to the track for emergency work. Works on -4 through -16 (1/4" through 1" ID) hose. If you need to use it on a non-standard hose, you can remove the vice jaws and make your own custom jaws.
You can make the job even faster and easier by turning the feed screw with a cordless drill/driver. Blink and you'll miss it!
Model 426 replaces Model 409 / 409B. This model is designed for medium-volume assembly work in smaller prep shops and racing teams. If you expect to build multiple hoses on a daily basis, you might want to consider the high-volume Model 427.
