The Dual-Stage Gated Boost Control Valve (GBCV) from Turbosmart lets you select between two different boost levels, quickly and easily -- even on the fly, with the engine running!
This controller can be added to just about any turbo engine with a boost pressure-based wastegate actuator. The heart of the system is an adjustable pneumatic bleed valve that alters the turbo pressure that the wastegate sees, effectively raising the wastegate opening pressure. But the Dual-Stage is the big twist: There are actually two adjustable valves, and the Dual-Stage uses a solenoid to switch from one valve to the other. Use the low-boost circuit for endurance racing and the high-boost for sprints and drags. You could even use the high-boost circuit as a push-to-pass system.
The complete system includes the dual-valve controller with mounting bracket, tee fitting to go into your wastegate control line, and a 2-way switch with a switch guard. Works with virtually all types of boost-actuated wastegate systems, including internal or external wastegates, single or twin turbos, even systems with an ECU-activated boost control solenoid.
