The result of over 25 years of experience manufacturing blow-off valves and 12 months of dedicated CFD-backed development, the ProPort BOV from Turbosmart provides the maximum possible flow in a surprisingly compact package.
The huge 54mm (2.13") piston allows 420 CFM of airflow, 25% more than a 50mm piston BOV and enough to support 3500 HP! The Boost-Balance system uses boost pressure to help hold the piston closed, which means it actually seals better under higher boost conditions. The new GenV cap design has dual 1/8 NPT female ports which can be clocked to simplify hose routing (kit includes one barbed fitting and one blanking plug).
The body, piston, and inlet weld flange are all constructed of 6262 T6 aluminum to keep the weight under 220g (7.6 oz). Supplied with a black top cap, clear anodized body, and inlet weld flange pre-profiled to fit 2.5" (63.5mm) OD tubing. Includes a pre-installed Blue piston spring, which is suitable for applications pulling 14 to 18 in-Hg vacuum.
