The BlackBox from Turbosmart is a dedicated electronic wastegate controller designed to be used with a wide range of OEM and aftermarket ECUs. It is capable of controlling single or twin electronic wastegate systems for the ultimate in control.
This controller is a dual-channel, high current capable H-bridge driver which can interface directly with the Turbosmart range of electronic external wastegates (eWGs), including the StraightGate50, CompGate40, Hypergate45, ProGate50, and PowerGate60, as well as the e-AntiLag Valve (all sold separately). Not for use with mechanically-controlled wastegates.
The flow vs lift calibration data for all Turbosmart eWGs is pre-loaded for simple programming, but you can also use the free PC-based app to auto-calibrate the BlackBox to control other brands as well. The BlackBox is capable of a variety of control strategies including PWM inputs (typical of many control solenoids), 0-5v position target, CAN position target, and CAN bus override.
