You know that your turbo needs a constant supply of oil to the bearings. But did you know that exceeding the turbo manufacturer's recommended pressure can upset the critical balance of pressures inside your turbo? The compact OPR V2 from Turbosmart is designed to limit the oil feed pressure to prevent oil burning and blue smoke from the exhaust.
The compact OPR V2 is a dead-head style regulator (no return line needed) that is pre-set to allow no more than 40-50 psi outlet pressure, even with inlet pressures over 100 psi. No adjustment needed, and no more guessing at what size restrictor you need. The 6262 billet aluminum body incorporates an internal 44 Micron stainless steel filter to protect your turbo from trash. Male 4AN (7/16-20, 37° convex flare) fittings on each end make it easy to plumb into the feed line. A 1/8 NPT female port on the side provides a spot for your pressure gauge or gauge sender.
The HNBR seals are compatible with all known engine oils and can withstand temperatures of up to 150° C (300° F) for 30 minutes. Black anodized aluminum.
