This Clearance 4mm x 50cm x 50cm piece of Jabroc has a small piece of the underside edge chipped away.It will be perfect if you planned to cut it down anyways.
Jabroc skid plate material is a high-density wood laminate that is manufactured using extremely high pressure and temperature. Its predictable and uniform friction and wear characteristics make it an ideal skid plate material. When applied to vulnerable areas on the bottom of your vehicle's chassis, it protects the structure from damage during bottom-out situations and is easily replaced when it wears thin. Jabroc parts can be fabricated using standard metalworking or woodworking tools.
Jabroc is longer-wearing and less expensive than carbon fiber. It is about half the strength of steel, but it is 80% lighter than steel. It is also quicker to machine than steel, which means savings on fabrication costs. Jabroc is non-conductive and non-sparking, which increases safety when used for skid plates. The specific gravity is between 1.3 and 1.45, which meets the requirements for Formula 1 skid plates. Formula 1 requires the 10mm thickness.

A custom over-sized shipping pallet will be added to your order if shipped by truck. There is no limit to the number of sheets we can ship on a single pallet. If you are in the Milwaukee area, you can also pick up full sheets of Jabroc from our warehouse in New Berlin WI (custom pallet not required). |
