Brand: Webster Gears

The use of all-metal self-locking nuts on the shift forks of Hewland and Webster Mk-series gearboxes has made the old style lock tab washers unnecessary, but a strong thread locking compound is still recommended. These nuts should be replaced any time the shift forks are removed. Two nuts required per gearbox; sold individually. Replaces Hewland part number FT2462.

Torque these nuts to 35 ft-lb with Loctite 271 (Red) High-Strength Threadlocker (Part No. LT-37421, sold separately).
