The Ultra-Lite II series from Auto Meter continues the full-race look of the original Ultra-Lite series, but the advanced backlighting design makes them incredibly easy to read at night. Unlit, the gauge has the traditional black markings on a silver face that made the Ultra-Lite popular. At night, the numbers and major hash marks light up bright white, while the minor hash marks and logo light up in yellow for a totally different look (shown at left in the photo*).
This pedestal-mount 3 3/4" tachometer reads to 10,000 RPM (0-10 x 1000). The single-stage external LED mini shift light can be positioned virtually anywhere around the dial face. The face can also be rotated in the mounting strap to bring your chosen redline into your line of sight. Compatible with most points and electronic ignition systems with a dedicated tach signal output. Can be set to work with engines from 2 to 10 cylinders.
* The gauge on the left side of the photo is the same silver face / silver bezel gauge as on the right side of the photo. The extreme backlighting in the photo makes the silver color impossible to see. But the gauge face lighting shows just as you would see it at night.
